§ 4-123. Administrative regulations.

  • The Director shall administer the permit process and enforce the requirements for the keeping, placement or maintenance of female chickens on parcels of real property in residential zoning districts of the City for which this division provides and establish such rules, regulations, and any amendments thereto, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Code and other applicable laws, as the Director deems necessary for the effective administration of the permit process and the enforcement of the requirements for which this division provides. Such rules and regulations shall prescribe timeframes within which applications for permits shall be filed in accordance with Section 4-124. In addition, the Director shall establish such rules and regulations, and any amendments thereto, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Code and other applicable laws, as the Director deems necessary concerning the handling of female chickens in the City. The Director shall also prescribe standards for the approval of permits and the appropriate forms for the submission of permits by persons keeping, placing or maintaining female chickens in the City in accordance with this chapter.
