Radio and television broadcast antenna support structures, microwave relay facility
support structures and wireless communications support structures which have nonconforming
features may be modified, strengthened, and/or rebuilt for the purpose of accommodating
additional antennas, provided such modification, strengthening and/or rebuilding does
not result in an increase in the preexisting diameter or horizontal dimensions and
the overall height is not increased by more than ten percent. If the existing support
structure is not of a monopole design and rebuilding is proposed, the replacement
support structure shall be of monopole design.
