Pursuant to the permissive provisions of Code of Virginia, § 36-11.1:1, in any month
in which a Commissioner of the Redevelopment and Housing Authority attends a regular
scheduled meeting of the Commissioners of the Authority or a called meeting of such
Commissioners, the Commissioner so attending such meeting shall be entitled to receive
the sum of $150.00 for each meeting attended. However, the maximum amount a Commissioner
shall be entitled to receive for meetings attended in any one month shall be $150.00,
which payment shall be made from funds of the Authority. Such payment shall be in
addition to any expenses as are paid to or reimbursed such Commissioner pursuant to
State enabling legislation.
