It shall be unlawful for any person to violate or to fail, refuse or neglect to comply
with any section of this article. Except as otherwise provided in any section of this
article, upon conviction, such person, in addition to the issuance of a stop work
order pursuant to section 24-548, shall be punished for a class 3 misdemeanor, which shall include a fine of $250.00
for a first offense, a fine of $500.00 for a second or subsequent offense, and be
paid to the City treasury.
