§ 12-92. Copy of offense report.

  • Whenever a police officer makes out an offense report, the police officer may provide the victim of such offense or a person whom such officer in such officer's discretion deems an appropriate representative of such victim with a carbon or similarly reproduced copy of such offense report at the time such officer takes the report of the offense. For a copy of a report of the offense obtained at any subsequent time, a fee as set forth in Appendix A to this Code shall be charged and paid into the City treasury to aid in defraying the cost of compiling a police report and providing the report; if more than one copy is obtained at any one time, a fee as set forth in Appendix A to this Code shall be charged and paid into the City treasury for any additional copy of the same report.
